hnghhhh spending my day doing work again. and the reason why I'm online is because I am editing the devotions for the Prayer&Fast booklet. it is not as easy as it seems. so far, I have edited ONE devotion. still have readings to do, and essay outlines, and one case study, plus DG to prepare for next week. but somehow, it feels like a good day. and there's this unexplainable peace in my heart. praying and doing QT before starting work really makes a difference! :)

it's funny that this is true. without struggles and terrible days, I don't think I'll be as close to God as I am now. It's because of all the trials and tribulations I went through with God that causes me to praise Him more, to love Him more, to trust in Him more. So even though I really hate it when things get tough, but, I know it'll make me better, stronger, and of course, closer to God. :)

actually it's not true. that being young means you're free. there's always so much to do, so much to complete. but I guess it's true in some sense. we're free to make mistakes, to learn, to grow, to be who we want to be. but I guess the most important freedom to have can only be found in God.

I apologise for not blogging for so long. Ever since school started last week, things have been really hectic. It feels like two months instead of two weeks in school :| I don't really know how I am going to survive the following months till my A levels, but I guess it'll be quite an adventure and definitely a memorable year to look back on, like 2010 :) but all I hope for now is to...sleep. I have pterodactyls in my stomach just thinking about school reopening ): I don't want to face reality! But, there is just that bit of excitement that comes also. Especially because of all the Easter week stuff we're preparing. It's superbly exciting just discussing about the ideas and stuff :D and it's truly amazing, because the ideas must have been inspired by God, all of it just shows how He is working through us! God is amazing TTM! :D

reflecting upon 2011:

it's definitely been a memorable year. so many things have happened and changed. and time really flew by. I'm really thankful for the people I've met, especially the SFC exco. They are a wonderful bunch of people, and I love being with them :)

being in JC has been tough, to say the least. every subject is more content heavy, and school life is more demanding. I haven't studied so hard in my life as I did in JC. but I kinda like my subjects, except maybe Econs.

there are a lot of things I want to say about this year, but words fail me.

I think I really just want to acknowledge how faithful God is in bringing me through this year, through all my ups and downs. His mercy and grace is infinite and sometimes His ways I do not understand, but His love is never failing and He never ever left me.

I thank God for bringing me through yet another year.

have been reading books like mad lately, after a recent trip to library. read a line that seemed to resonate throughout me as I read it: "stay true to you", don't live life not being you, then what's the point? this is sho cute :3 and it depicts me right now. bored. all I want to do is watch, "Scent of a Woman". It's a super uber nice korean drama that I'm kinda, very addicted to. :/ Especially since I'm stuck at home (still sick) and I don't feel like doing work.

I think I've lost weight ): all I ate today is porridge with bits of egg and chicken, and two slices of toast. With butter. I haven't had dinner, but I presume I'll be eating something soupy. I didn't eat breakfast for the past few days. At first, it was because I had sore throat, so I really didn't want to eat. Then now, it's just cause I've been waking up late. and besides yesterday's dinner, I've pretty much just been eating porridge. Porridge, porridge and more porridge.

Okay I should stop ranting, but just a last note, PLEASE PRAY FOR ME. I want my voice back. I want to be well again! :(

it does not feel good to be sick. my throat is killing me and now I'm sneezing too. and even though the strong strepsils is really effective, its taste is really sucky. but I kinda deserve it. I've been waiting to fall sick since, like, before OP cos I've been eating a lot of fried food. but Monday did it. had class potluck on Monday. guess what I ate. Chicken nuggets, sausages, chicken wings, pizza, ice cream and cake, potato chips and I drank a lot of F&N. -.-''' okay, so I totally deserve getting sore throat. and now I am permanently camping on the couch with my laptop :) need to go eat strepsils again. ah, this week has been really good, thus far, since the camp started :) I really love the SFC people :) anyway, I have been napping the WHOLE WEEK. except today, cos there was sfc meeting. hmmmm I can't wait for everyday to unfold! there's FREE BUBBLETEA at toa payoh bus interchange tmr, and I might be going with Jieying. Then Saturday is PUSS IN BOOTS with Sarah, Zhi Hui, Jia Hao and Eva! (and maybe ben?) and Sunday is church! and monday is dinner with Lydia Liao :) :) :) I CAN'T WAIT!

so. time to finally blog about camp. you know, camp has made me so exhausted that I've been napping for the past couple of days. like, a few hours!! :O shocking! but anyway, camp was AWESOME. I want another camp ): though it was like, really short, but it was really fun! and and and it was nice spending time with everybody too. I've also had a LOT of exercise ("Light"morning run -3.6km, Amazing Race -more running, Captain's Ball - screaming and dodging the ball) which made me ache all over from Sunday to Tuesday. Yes. I am very unfit I know. And it was very awesome just spending time with all the SFC (Saints for Christ) peeps :) they are very awesome people, just to let you know. Okay, gotta go boogie! BYE.
